Nursery Furniture Must Be Built Right
Nursery furniture carries a higher safety responsibility than any other flat pack furniture. A cot or cotbed that is not assembled correctly is a risk to your baby.
- Every fixing tightened to the correct torque — not just finger-tight
- Cot base height positions checked and secured at the correct level
- Drop-side mechanisms (where present) tested before we leave
- Changing unit stability checked — we apply load to test it

Cots
Standard cots from all suppliers. Base height adjustment checked and secured. Drop-side mechanisms tested. Teething rails fitted where included.
Cotbeds
Cotbeds that convert from cot to toddler bed. We assemble in cot configuration and check the conversion mechanism. Mamas & Papas, Silver Cross, Obaby, Boori, and all other brands.
Baby Changing Units
Changing tables, changing units with drawers, and changer-dresser combinations. Stability checked before we leave. Wall-fixing available where recommended.

Nursing Chairs & Gliders
Nursing chairs, glider chairs, and rocking chairs. Mechanism checked and adjusted. Ottoman footstools assembled and mechanism tested.

Smaller wardrobes for nursery rooms. All assembled to the same standard as adult furniture. Wall-fixing available where recommended.

We email you a fixed price quote, usually within 1 hour during working hours.
Book a date
Book online or give us three preferred dates. We arrive within a 1-hour appointment window.
Job completed safely
We assemble everything on your list, check every fixing, and leave the nursery ready. You pay by cash or bank transfer on completion.

We recommend booking as soon as your furniture is delivered — ideally at least 2–3 weeks before your due date. We are often busy and cannot always accommodate last-minute bookings.
How long does nursery assembly take?
Single cot: around 45 minutes. Cotbed: 1–1.5 hours. Full nursery set (cotbed, changer, wardrobe, nursing chair): 3–4 hours. We price by complexity, not by time.
