What We Assemble
We build beds from all suppliers. Ottoman beds are our most technically demanding bed job.
Ottoman Beds
Gas-lift ottoman beds from all suppliers. Correct spring tension setup is critical — too tight and the lid will not stay up; too loose and it will slam shut. We set the tension correctly for the mattress weight.
Storage Beds
Beds with built-in drawers — side-opening and end-opening. Drawer alignment and runner adjustment included. IKEA MALM storage beds with under-bed boxes.
Standard Bed Frames
Wooden, metal, and upholstered frames from all suppliers. Single, double, king, and super king. Slatted bases and solid bases.
Divan Bases
Divan base assembly and headboard fitting. Drawer runner adjustment. Zip-link joining for super king divans.
Day Beds & Sofa Beds
Day beds with trundles, sofa beds, and pull-out guest beds. IKEA HEMNES day bed and similar.
Headboards
Headboard fitting to bed frames and direct wall mounting. Upholstered, wooden, and metal headboards.

Solid pine or oak bed frame with slatted base. Typical job: 45 minutes–1.5 hours.
Why Bed Assembly Goes Wrong
- Ottoman gas-lift springs must be set to the correct tension for the mattress weight — instructions rarely explain this clearly
- Ottoman lids must be assembled in the correct sequence or the gas lift mechanism cannot be accessed
- Storage drawer runners must be aligned precisely or drawers stick or fall out
- Slatted bases must be fitted in the correct orientation — many have a curved side that must face upward
- Super king divan zip-links must be tensioned correctly or the two halves separate during use
- Upholstered beds have hidden fixings that are easy to miss in the instructions
Most bed assembly problems come from rushing the sequence or misreading the instructions. Ottoman beds in particular have a specific assembly order that is not obvious from the diagrams.

We assemble the bed, adjust all drawers and mechanisms, and leave everything ready to use. You pay by cash or bank transfer on completion.

How long does bed assembly take?
Standard bed frame: 45 minutes–1.5 hours. Storage bed with drawers: 1.5–2.5 hours. Ottoman bed: 2–3 hours. We price by complexity, not by time.
Do I need to clear the room before you arrive?
The room needs to be clear enough for us to work safely. We need to be able to lay the panels flat during assembly. We do not move existing furniture.
