At Flat Pack Amigos, we believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Our pricing structure is designed to be fair and straightforward, ensuring you know exactly what you're paying for. We price our services based on the complexity and time required for each assembly job, not just the retail price of your furniture.
How Our Pricing Works
Our pricing is based on two main components:
Item Fee
Each furniture item has a fee determined by its complexity and the time required for assembly. This is represented as assembly units — each unit is worth a small amount in pence. A unit is typcially the time it takes someone with over 3 years full time experience to build the item, it can also include consumables used in wall mounting/attaching to the wall, and also additional specialist skills or experience required for some items - More Info.
Call-Out Fee
A call-out fee covers our travel to your location and the admin cost of quoting, booking and managing the job. This fee varies based on your postcode area, but is always a fixed amount on every job. If the job runs to more than one day, this may be added again for each day.
Price Model
Our pricing is based on a simple formula:

Call-Out Fees
Our call-out fees are based on your postcode area. Below is a general guide — your exact call-out fee is shown in the pricing widget above once your location is set. This covers the time and cost of the assmebler getting ot you as well as all the administration associated with the job, such as quoting, booking, invoicing receipts etc. which are the same regardless of the size of job.
