Q: How long does it take to assemble an IKEA PAX wardrobe?
A: A typical IKEA PAX wardrobe takes between 2-4 hours depending on the size and configuration. A 2-door PAX might take 2 hours, while a large 4-door system with drawers and internal fittings could take 4-5 hours. Our quotes are based on our units system which gives you an accurate time and price estimate.

Q: Do you assemble furniture bought from Facebook Marketplace?
A: Yes, we can assemble second-hand furniture as long as all parts and instructions are present. We recommend checking everything is complete before booking. If instructions are missing, we may be able to find them online for common items like IKEA furniture. However, we cannot guarantee assembly if parts are missing or damaged.

Q: Can you fix my wardrobe to the wall?
A: Yes, we provide wall-fixing services for furniture that needs to be secured for safety, such as tall wardrobes and children's furniture. This is particularly important for items over 1.5m tall. Wall-fixing is quoted separately and requires suitable wall construction (brick, block, or stud walls with appropriate fixings). We follow British Standards for wall-fixing.

Q: What if I'm missing parts from my flat-pack furniture?
A: Please check all parts against the instructions before our arrival. If parts are missing, contact the retailer immediately to request replacements. Most retailers will send missing parts free of charge. We can reschedule your assembly once the parts arrive. We cannot complete assembly if essential parts are missing.

Q: Do you work evenings and weekends?
A: Yes, we offer assembly services seven days a week including evenings, subject to availability. Weekend and evening slots are popular, so we recommend booking in advance. There is no extra charge for weekend or evening work - our pricing is the same regardless of when the work is done.

There are lots of ways to share IKEA information. The simplest two are the 8-digit product codes, for example 123.456.78 (also displayed in many places as 12345678). However, it gets complicated with larger orders and what we call the IKEA Curve Ball. Large Orders: If you can copy and paste your whole order from your receipt (remember quantities are important), that is ideal. If you cannot, you will receive an email and you can email us a photo or screenshot of it — our AI will pull all the codes out and create your quote. IKEA Curve Ball: IKEA use aggregate product codes, so a PAX wardrobe (modular) displayed on their website will have a single product code, which is actually made up of numerous product codes for all the frames, doors and KOMPLEMENT fittings it is built from. IKEA have done this with the MALM beds as well — the bed, the slats and the SKORVA mid-beam all have separate codes. IKEA also have Planners for BESTÅ, PAX and PLATSA to help you design your wardrobe. You can send us your 6-character design code (letters and numbers) and we can view your design and create a quote. However, if you want a quote whilst you are online, please send us all the codes from your order.
